Eddie's passion for art began at the age of seven while attending grade school. From an early age, he demonstrated exceptional talent and quickly became highly skilled in both painting and drawing. Dedicated to his craft, Eddie spent years refining his artistic abilities and expanding his knowledge across multiple mediums.

After graduating from high school, Eddie attended Ferrum College, where he continued his studies in art while also exploring history, mathematics, and science. His diverse educational background helped shape his creative approach and broadened his perspective as an artist.

In 1993, Eddie decided to pursue a career in tattooing and began an apprenticeship at Ancient Art Tattoo under the guidance of the renowned Danny Fowler. Under Fowler's mentorship, Eddie learned the fundamentals of tattooing and developed the technical skills that would become the foundation of his long and successful career.

After several years, Eddie moved to Cherry Bomb Tattoo, where he established himself not only as a respected tattoo artist but also as an influential mentor. Over the years, he trained and guided numerous artists, helping shape the next generation of tattoo professionals. Among his most accomplished apprentices was Johnathan Hatcher, who went on to build a highly successful career of his own.

Never content to stop learning, Eddie continued exploring new artistic mediums and eventually became an expert airbrush artist, earning recognition for his versatility and attention to detail. His dedication to both art and education ultimately led him to become a co-owner of one of the Cherry Bomb Tattoo locations, which he successfully operated for many years.

In 2011, Eddie, along with Johnathan Hatcher and one of their colleagues, received international recognition when their tattoos based on Anne Stokes' original artwork were featured in one of her published books. The publication was distributed globally, showcasing their work to audiences around the world.

In 2024, Eddie stepped away from tattooing due to health concerns. However, his passion for the industry and love for creating art never faded. In 2026, he returned to tattooing, beginning a new chapter of his career at Skinwalker Studio. Today, Eddie continues to share decades of experience, artistic excellence, and dedication to his craft with every client who walks through the door.
